On Independence Day, Ola Electric revealed that its first four-wheeler electric vehicle will arrive in 2024. Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO, Ola Electric shared glimpses of the car, which set the level of excitement and expectations high among the people.

Ola Electric’s first car is a feature-rich EV and will offer a range of over 500 km on a single charge. However, the price of the electric car has been kept a secret for now.

“Our car is going to be one of the fastest cars in India with 0-100 within four seconds, it will have a range of more than 500 km per charge. It will be the sportiest car ever built in India,” said Aggarwal.

He said that the car will get an all glass roof and is designed to deliver a drag coefficient of less than 0.21.

The EV four-wheeler will have Ola’s very own MoveOS, one of the most advanced computers in the car, assisted driving capability. The car will be not only keyless like Ola EV scooters but handle-less.

Aggarwal added that the company will be releasing MoveOS 3 to everyone this Diwali. “MoveOS 3 brings many more exciting features like moods, digital key sharing, proximity unlock, documents on your scooter, and many more things,” he said.

The CEO also presented Ola S1 on the occasion of Independence Day. “Today we want to take the electric two-wheeler revolution to a much larger scale and democratise EV’s scooter ownership in India. We promised this to you last year and as promised I am super excited to present the Ola S1 today,” he said.

The Ola S1 will be be available at an introductory price of Rs99,999. You can reserve the scooter at Rs499 starting August 15-31. It can be noted that the introductory price is valid for limited scooters.

Ola Electric will also launch more than 100 hyperchargers across top 50 cities during diwali.
